The Bank of Canada has released their 2021 announcement schedule and we wanted to share these important dates with you.

Interest Rate Announcements / Monetary Policy Reports

After the final interest rate announcement for 2020 (December 9), Bank of Canada will resume for 2021 as follows:

Wednesday, January 20, 2010: Monetary Report Published

Wednesday, March 10, 2021

Wednesday, April 21, 2021: Monetary Report Published

Wednesday, June 9, 2021

Wednesday, July 14, 2021: Monetary Report Published

Wednesday, September 8, 2021

Wednesday, October 27, 2021: Monetary Report Published

Wednesday, December 8, 2021

It is important to note, all interest rate announcements will be made at 10:00am (ET) on the dates above, and the Monetary Policy Report will be published concurrently with the January, April, July and October announcements.

Business Outlook Survey
