Show Your Home Some Love

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner what better time to show your home some TLC?
We thought we’d share some of our top tips to show your home some love in the run up to the most romantic day of the year. Whether you’d like to create a fresh, vibrant or romantic feel in your home, it’s easy to show it a bit of TLC in an easy and cost-efficient way. Here’s our top tips …
Buy a bunch of flowers
The most romantic way to add a pop of colour to a room is with freshly cut flowers. Not only do they say ‘I love you’ but also bring a home to life. Plus, they’re perfect for those on a budget, a bunch doesn’t have to cost a fortune and will spruce up your home in the springtime. Indulge in classic red roses for your home this Valentine’s Day or add a splash of colour with some flirty, ruffled carnations. Tones of rouge, fuchsia and lilacs are a perfect nod to the month of love.
Enjoy a new scent
Introduce a fresh new welcoming scent with luxury candles and home fragrances. A subtle floral perfume will create a relaxing and homely feel and reflect on the changing season. Looking for a scent for your kitchen? Avoid florals and go for a fruity zing. In the bedroom try a luxury musky candle to radiate romance.
Give your home a pamper
You’re not the only one who enjoys a relaxing pamper! Start your spring clean early this February to give your home some TLC. Focus on areas that are normally overlooked such as windows, skirting boards and cupboards. Don’t be afraid to declutter! Choose what you want to keep, giveaway, recycle or throw out. Start small with just one cupboard or closet and see how that goes. Once finished, kick back and enjoy your organized and gleaming home.
Make memories
Invite friends and family around and spend some quality time with your loved ones. Organize a casual pizza and film night with friends or cook a stunning meal for all the family to dig in and enjoy together. Fill your home this Valentine’s day with those closest to your heart.
Introduce new artwork
Treat your home to some new accessories. Add colourful artwork and decorative ornaments to transform the feel and look of your home. This is a purse friendly and very effective way to breathe life into your home after a long and dark winter.
